What this product is
The APR48-ES incorporates a fully digital power conversion architecture driven by an onboard micro-controller/DSP. The front stage employs an active power factor correction (PFC) boost topology accepting a wide input voltage window (90V–300V AC) while maintaining near-unity power factor and negligible THD. The DC-DC transformation utilizes an LLC resonant topology providing low-loss soft switching, galvanic isolation, and tight regulation over the 48V DC bus. Module-to-controller communication is executed via high-speed internal CAN bus for dynamic auto-sharing of load current.
What problem it solves
Eliminates the unsustainable operational electricity and thermal HVAC costs common to legacy 88%–92% legacy rectifiers; prevents network drops and component destruction during extreme utility grid fluctuations or brownouts; removes single points of failure through hot-swappable N+1 modular redundancy.
Who and where it is for
5G and 4G macro telecom base stations, cloud and edge computing DC power shelves, optical transmission hubs, enterprise data room DC backbones, and mission-critical railway signaling substations.
