What this product is
The EPW30-48 employs a high-frequency pulse-width modulated (PWM) dual-stage topology combining active power factor correction (APFC) with an isolated DC-DC resonant converter to deliver low-ripple telecom-quality -48V DC power. It integrates hardware-driven AC under/over-voltage shutdown, output over-voltage crowbar latching, output current limiting, thermal foldback, and localized telemetry interfaces compliant with global telecom and EMC standards.
What problem it solves
Eliminates premature component burnout and brownout shutdowns in remote or unstable grid regions prone to severe voltage sags and transient surges; mitigates thermal runaway and current hogging in parallel redundant arrays; and eliminates downtime during maintenance via live hot-plug capability.
Who and where it is for
Cellular base stations (BBU/RRU/macro sites), optical access network nodes (FTTx/OLT), microwave repeater terminals, utility substation automation SCADA racks, and industrial 48V DC uninterruptible power supply (UPS) enclosures.
