What this product is
Electrically, the DZY4830HV incorporates a continuous conduction mode (CCM) boost PFC pre-regulator achieving a power factor of ≥ 0.99 and THDi < 5%, cascaded into a zero-voltage switching (ZVS) resonant DC-DC converter for galvanic isolation and step-down transformation. It integrates an onboard microprocessor supervisor that communicates directly with central supervisory units (CSU) over CAN/RS485 buses to stream AC/DC metrics, thermal readings, and alarm flags while dynamically receiving float/equalize setpoints and current limits.
What problem it solves
In harsh deployments plagued by severe grid sags, surges, and fluctuating generator outputs, the DZY4830HV prevents site outages caused by false low-voltage dropouts, rectifying down to 85V AC with linear derating. Its integrated hardware-locked output overvoltage protection (OVP) stops fatal high-voltage pass-through from destroying downstream active baseband units (BBU) and remote radio heads (RRU), while robust thermal foldback protects against unventilated cabinet overheating.
Who and where it is for
Engineered for cellular 4G/5G macro and micro base stations, distributed antenna systems (DAS), fiber-to-the-x (FTTx) central office terminals, optical transport network nodes, railway signaling power cabinets, and standard 19-inch/23-inch integrated DC power plants.
