HP_ALM (High Discharge Pressure Fault)
ALARM LED solid red, RUN LED off
Condenser coil heavily fouled, external condenser fan failure, excessive refrigerant charge, or ambient temperature exceeding operational limits (>55°C).
1. Inspect and clean external condenser fins of dirt and debris. 2. Verify external condenser fan power supply and motor operation. 3. Check high-pressure switch continuity using a multimeter. 4. Attach manifold pressure gauges to verify discharge pressure and recover excess refrigerant to rated nameplate quantity if overcharged.
LP_ALM (Low Suction Pressure / Refrigerant Leak)
ALARM LED blinking red (1Hz), RUN LED off
Refrigerant shortage caused by pipeline leakage, capillary tube or filter drier clogging/freezing, defective low-pressure switch, or evaporator coil icing.
1. Inspect copper brazing joints and Schrader valves for oil traces indicating leakage. 2. Use an electronic leak detector or soap bubble solution to identify leak location and braze-repair. 3. Vacuum the system to 50Pa and conduct nitrogen pressure-hold test. 4. Recharge exact refrigerant mass per unit rating plate and verify low-pressure switch reset.
IFAN_FAIL (Internal Evaporator Fan Failure)
ALARM LED solid amber, RUN LED off
Internal evaporator fan rotor locked by mechanical obstruction, fan run capacitor degraded, DC fan tachometer/PWM cable disconnected, or motor winding burned out.
1. Disconnect AC power and manually spin the fan impeller to verify free rotation without mechanical binding. 2. Inspect terminal blocks and wiring harness between fan and control board for loose contacts. 3. Measure motor winding resistance and incoming supply voltage with a multimeter. 4. Replace the internal evaporator fan assembly if winding is open/shorted or bearings are seized.
CAB_HI_T (Cabinet High Temperature Alarm)
ALARM LED blinking red (0.5Hz), RUN LED solid green
Heat dissipation from active IT load exceeds 1500W rated capacity, cabinet door ajar or degraded gasket allowing air leakage, temperature setpoint configured too high, or compressor failure.
1. Check cabinet airtightness, ensuring door is sealed and perimeter gaskets are intact without thermal leaks. 2. Verify total active IT equipment thermal dissipation does not exceed 1500W. 3. Verify controller cooling setpoint (typically 28°C to 32°C for outdoor telecom enclosures). 4. Check if compressor starts and measure Delta-T across supply and return air; if Delta-T < 5°C, troubleshoot the refrigeration circuit.
SENS_ERR (Return Air Temp Sensor Fault)
ALARM LED blinking amber (1Hz), RUN LED solid green
NTC return air sensor terminal loose, sensor wiring pinched/cut causing open or short circuit, moisture ingress into thermistor probe, or controller ADC circuit fault.
1. Inspect the sensor terminal block on the main PCB, reseat and secure the connector. 2. Disconnect the probe and measure its resistance with a multimeter; at 25°C ambient it should measure close to nominal rating (typically 10kΩ). 3. If resistance reads infinite (open) or zero ohms (short), replace the NTC thermistor probe. 4. If sensor resistance is valid but alarm persists, replace the main controller board.
