Alarms & troubleshooting

AC_IN_ERR (AC Mains Input Abnormal/Loss)

1. Measure AC input terminal voltage (L-N) at the backplane slot using a true-RMS multimeter to verify voltage within 85-290VAC. 2. Verify the AC sub-distribution breaker and upstream surge protective device (SPD) disconnect switches are closed. 3. Inspect terminal block connections for loose screws, thermal discoloration, or phase failure. 4. If AC grid is verified normal, reseat the module and check rear blind-mate hot-swap connector pins for mechanical deflection or arcing damage.
DC_OVP_LOCK (DC Output Overvoltage Lockout)
Green POWER LED flashing, Yellow ALARM LED OFF, Red FAULT LED solid ON
Internal voltage feedback loop open-circuit, PWM controller malfunction, or back-fed high voltage from a faulty paralleled module, causing DC output to exceed hardware threshold (59.5V ±0.5V)
1. Disconnect the module's AC feed breaker, wait 3 minutes for internal DC link bus capacitors to fully discharge, then re-energize to reset the latch. 2. If the red FAULT LED immediately latches ON upon restart, measure the system DC bus actual voltage with a calibrated digital multimeter. 3. If DC bus is normal (~53.5V), the fault is isolated to the internal sensing circuit or secondary stage of this unit; replace module. 4. If system DC bus is uniformly elevated, audit Central Supervisory Unit (CSU) float voltage setting.
OTP (Heatsink Over-Temperature Protection)

FAN_FAIL (Cooling Fan Stall/Tachometer Fault)

Physical debris obstructing fan blades, mechanical bearing seizure, disconnected fan power harness, or loss of internal Hall/tachometer feedback signal to the MCU

Illuminate fan housing while operational to observe if both fans or only a single fan stopped running. 3. Disconnect and withdraw the module; spin blades gently with an insulated tool to check for mechanical bearing friction or resistance. 4. If blades rotate freely without friction but tachometer alarm persists upon power-up, the internal Hall sensor or 12V PWM drive circuit has failed; replace the fan assembly or entire rectifier.
COMM_FAIL (CAN-bus Communication Timeout/Current Share Fail)

Poor contact on module rear CAN-bus gold-finger pins, Central Supervisory Unit (CSU) crash/power loss, missing 120-ohm CAN termination resistor, or address conflict ID on the bus
1. Verify Central Supervisory Unit (CSU) LCD/display is operational; reboot the CSU if it is unresponsive or unpowered. 2. Disengage module 10 cm from rack, inspect gold-finger CAN pins for bend or contamination, clean with isopropyl alcohol, and reseat firmly with latches secured. 3. Execute "Scan Rectifiers / Re-address Modules" command from the CSU menu interface. 4. Measure differential resistance across CAN_H and CAN_L lines with system powered down (normal nominal value is ~60 ohms for two parallel 120-ohm terminators); replace terminator if open-circuit.
