What this product is
Architecturally, the ESM-48100B5 integrates 16 series-connected prismatic LiFePO4 cells, a high-precision analog front-end (AFE), an autonomous DC-DC/electronic bypass current-limiting circuit, and a carrier-grade controller. The module incorporates cell balancing, bus isolation contactors, Hall-effect current sensors, and NTC thermistors. Dual RJ45 ports handle isolated CAN and RS485 communication protocols for real-time telemetry, remote parameter configuration, and autonomous operation compliant with IEC 62619, UN 38.3, and EN 300 019-1-3.
What problem it solves
Eliminates premature capacity fade in high-temperature outdoor installations common to lead-acid batteries, mitigates catastrophic parasitic circulating currents during multi-pack paralleling, and resolves deep-discharge degradation via multi-stage Low Voltage Disconnect (LVD). It also prevents asset loss in remote or unmanned tower locations through integrated hardware motion sensing and software cryptographic locking.
Who and where it is for
Tailored for 4G/5G macro cell outdoor cabinets, edge computing data nodes, hybrid PV-diesel off-grid telecom shelters, railway communication power systems, and mission-critical 48V DC backup installations.
