Alarms & troubleshooting

AC_IN_FAIL (AC Input Failure / Abnormal)
Green RUN LED OFF, Yellow ALM LED solid ON
Mains grid outage, AC input voltage <80VAC or >300VAC, tripped AC input breaker, or loose terminal screw.
1. Measure L-N voltage at the AC distribution bar using a digital multimeter to verify it is within normal operating range (85VAC–290VAC). 2. Inspect the upstream AC miniature circuit breaker (MCB) for this rectifier; reclose it after ruling out short circuits. 3. Inspect the rear blind-mate connector pins for burn marks or deformation; ensure the module is fully seated and latched.
OUT_OVP_LOCK (DC Output Overvoltage Lockout)
Red FAULT LED solid ON, Green RUN LED OFF
Internal PWM voltage regulation loop breakdown, faulty monitoring unit voltage setpoint, or output voltage surge exceeding hardware trip threshold (59.5V ±0.5V).
1. Extract the module, disconnect AC input for 3 minutes to discharge internal bus capacitors, then reinsert to initiate a cold reboot. 2. Verify via the Central Supervisory Unit (CSU) that float/equalize target voltage settings do not exceed 58.5V. 3. If the red LED re-locks immediately with 0V output upon powering, internal power components are damaged; replace the module.
MODULE_OTP (Heatsink Over-Temperature Protection)
Yellow ALM LED solid ON, output current derated or shutdown
Ambient site temperature >55°C, front air inlet filter heavily clogged with dust, blocked airflow exhaust, or faulty internal NTC sensor.
1. Check equipment room HVAC operation; confirm the module inlet ambient temperature is below 45°C. 2. Remove and clean the front dust filter; clear any debris obstructing the front air intake or rear exhaust vents. 3. Allow the module heatsink to cool down below the reset threshold; verify if the ALM LED clears and full rated output restores automatically.
FAN_FAIL (Cooling Fan Stall / Speed Fault)
Yellow ALM LED solid ON or Red FAULT ON, fan stopped
Fan bearing seized by debris or mechanical wear, disconnected fan harness connector, lost tachometer Hall signal, or driver circuit failure.
1. Visually check whether fan blades are mechanically jammed by wires, labels, or external debris. 2. Disconnect the module, blow out compressed air through fan hub/vanes, and spin the rotor manually to verify smooth rotation without bearing friction. 3. Reinstall and power up the module; if the fan fails to spin during POST and the alarm persists, replace the fan assembly or swap the rectifier module.
CAN_COMM_FAIL (CAN Bus Comm Loss / Imbalance)
Yellow ALM LED blinking (0.5Hz–1Hz), Green RUN LED solid ON
Poor contact on rear CAN bus backplane pins, supervisory unit (CSU) failure/disconnection, open-circuit termination resistor, or address conflict causing unequal current sharing.
1. Check the central supervisory display (CSU500/501/502) to verify whether this rectifier slot ID is recognized. 2. Unlatch and pull out the module approximately 5 cm, then firmly push it straight back to reseat the backplane blind-mate connector fully. 3. If all modules in the subrack report CAN loss simultaneously, inspect the 120-ohm bus termination resistor and ribbon cables linking to the CSU board.
