Alarms & troubleshooting

060301 (CROSS_SUBRACK_RING_BROKEN / Inter-Subrack IQ Bus Ring Broken)
FS0 front panel RING LED turns yellow solid or flashes red; cascaded secondary subrack downgraded
Inter-chassis 10GE multimode jumper disconnected/cut, or FS0 cross-connect fabric packet drop
1. Query ring status via CLI: `SHOW RING TOPOLOGY` to locate the exact open-loop optical segment; 2. Inspect OM3 multimode patch cord for mechanical crush or sharp radius bend, re-seat LC connectors firmly; 3. Swap 10G multimode SFP+ optical transceiver; RING LED automatically returns to solid green upon ring restoration.
060304 (PORT_BUFFER_OVERFLOW / Optical Port Ingress Buffer Congestion)
Board ACT LED green, but switch port yellow LED flashes frantically; EMS reports packet loss spikes
Sudden extreme traffic burst saturates cross-subrack IQ bus; throughput exceeds port SRAM queue depth causing tail drops
1. Execute CLI diagnostic `SHOW PORT BUFFER STAT` to inspect congested queue distribution; 2. Reconfigure QoS scheduling profile, elevate signaling priority, and enable WRED early drop mechanism; 3. Install a second 10G optical tie-line and configure LACP aggregation to double inter-subrack switching capacity.
060309 (BOARD_SLOT_MISMATCH / Subrack Slot Assignment Conflict)
Board RUN LED off, ALM LED flashing yellow slowly; main control reports slot pre-configuration mismatch
FS0 board physically seated into ordinary baseband slot (e.g. Slot 2/3) instead of designated fabric slot (e.g. Slot 6)
1. Verify B8200/B8300 chassis slot assignment documentation to confirm legal FS0 slot assignments; 2. Wear ESD wrist strap, release latch handles, and gently pull out FS0 board; 3. Re-align and push board into the designated fabric slot, lock handles; system will auto-detect and load drivers.
