AC_FAIL (AC Mains Failure/Abnormal)
Power LED (Green) OFF, Protection LED (Yellow) Solid ON
AC grid blackout; AC input voltage below 85VAC or above 290VAC; upstream AC circuit breaker tripped or terminal loose.
1. Measure AC voltage across L/N input terminals using a digital multimeter to confirm it is within 85-290VAC; 2. Inspect the upstream AC feeder breaker in the power distribution unit (PDU) for tripping; reset if required; 3. Check the rear connector pins for thermal discoloration or oxidation; reseat the rectifier module firmly into the shelf.
DC_OVP_LOCK (DC Output Overvoltage Lockout)
Alarm LED (Red) Solid ON, Power LED (Green) OFF
Internal PWM voltage feedback loop failure; supervisory controller setting incorrect OVP threshold; external surge backfeed raising bus voltage above 59.5V.
1. Remove the rectifier module, disconnect AC for 3 minutes to discharge internal bus capacitors, and reinsert to reset the hardware lockout; 2. If the Red LED lights up immediately upon reinsertion without output, the internal power stage is damaged; replace the module; 3. Log into the supervisory controller and verify that the Overvoltage Protection parameter is calibrated correctly (typically 58.5V-59.0V).
OTP_SHUTDOWN (Over-Temperature Protection Shutdown)
Protection LED (Yellow) Solid ON, Power LED (Green) Solid ON or Blinking
Ambient operating temperature exceeds 65°C; front air grille or rear exhaust duct clogged by dust accumulation; prolonged heavy load operation.
1. Verify telecom shelter air conditioning and enclosure ventilation to reduce ambient temperature below 40°C; 2. Clean the front air filter, intake grilles, and internal heat sinks using ESD-safe dry compressed air; 3. Allow the unit to cool down until automatic recovery occurs; check current sharing across all rectifiers to avoid single-unit overload.
FAN_FAIL (Cooling Fan Failure/Stall)
Alarm LED (Red) Blinking, Protection LED (Yellow) Solid ON
Fan blades jammed by foreign objects; bearing wear causing tachometer speed below critical threshold (<1000 RPM); fan connector detached or internal PWM driver fault.
1. Visually inspect fan blades for physical obstructions or debris; remove any foreign object and check if rotation resumes; 2. Manually spin the fan with power off; if high mechanical friction or seizure is felt, replace the front fan assembly; 3. Reseat the module in the subrack; if the fan fails to run and tachometer alarm persists, replace the rectifier module.
CAN_COMM_FAIL (CAN Bus Communication Lost)
Protection LED (Yellow) Blinking at 0.5Hz, Power LED (Green) Solid ON
Poor contact on module rear CAN pinout; supervisory controller (e.g. NCU/M500S) offline or rebooting; CAN termination resistor missing or module slot ID conflict.
1. Check the system controller (e.g., NCU/SCU) display to confirm it is powered on, healthy, and not frozen; 2. Withdraw the rectifier module 50mm and push it back firmly to reseat the gold-finger communication pins; 3. Measure CAN bus terminating resistance (approx. 60 ohms across CAN_H and CAN_L); inspect inter-subrack ribbon cables if multiple rectifiers are offline.
