Alarms & troubleshooting

AC_MAINS_FAIL
System Red Alarm LED solid ON; AC distribution indicator OFF
AC mains blackout, upstream input circuit breaker tripped, or voltage out of operational limits (<80VAC or >305VAC)
1. Measure AC input terminal voltage with a DMM; 2. Inspect and reset upstream breaker or ATS transfer switch; 3. Verify that the AC Surge Protective Device (SPD) has not shorted out or failed.
DC_VOLT_HIGH
Controller Red Alarm LED flashing; continuous audible buzzer alarm
Rectifier voltage runaway, internal feedback loop breakdown, or misconfigured equalize voltage threshold > -58.0VDC
1. Hot-unplug rectifiers one by one to identify the runaway unit (bus voltage drops when faulty unit is removed); 2. Verify controller float/equalize setpoints (nominal: -53.5VDC to -56.4VDC); 3. Replace the defective rectifier.
LLVD_DISCONNECT
Controller Amber Major Alarm LED solid ON; priority-2 load contactor status OFF
Mains outage prolonged, battery discharged below LLVD threshold (default -44.0VDC), triggering load shed contactor
1. Confirm duration of mains outage and estimate remaining battery run-time; 2. Dispatch mobile emergency generator to restore AC feed; 3. Upon AC recovery, confirm automatic LLVD contactor re-engagement and battery recharge.
RECTIFIER_COMM_FAIL

CAN bus communication loss between controller and rectifier, oxidized backplane pins, or damaged rectifier ID IC
1. Unseat rectifier and inspect backplane connector pins for physical damage or debris; 2. Firmly reinsert module and engage locking latch; 3. Run 'Rescan Nodes' on controller; 4. Swap slot to isolate backplane vs module defect.
BATT_TEMP_HIGH

Site cooling/HVAC failure, battery thermal runaway/internal short, or detached/defective NTC temperature probe
1. Scan individual battery blocks with an infrared thermometer to detect localized thermal hotspots or bulging; 2. Verify site cooling fans and air conditioning status; 3. Measure NTC probe resistance against temp-curve and re-affix firmly.
