AC_FAIL (AC Mains Failure / Phase Loss)

Commercial grid blackout, AC input breaker tripped, AC voltage out of operational window (<85VAC or >290VAC), or phase loss
1. Measure phase and line-to-line voltages at AC distribution terminals using a DMM. 2. Inspect the upstream AC input breaker and ATS contactor status. 3. Reset the AC breaker once utility grid parameters stabilize within nominal limits.
RECT_HVSD (Rectifier DC High Voltage Shut Down)

Internal voltage regulation/PWM loop failure in the rectifier, or high external surge causing DC bus voltage to exceed the 59.5V hardware protection threshold
1. Unseat the alarmed rectifier module, disconnect AC, and wait 3 minutes to discharge internal bus capacitors. 2. Verify controller DC overvoltage setpoint (typically 58.5V). 3. Re-insert the module individually; if HVSD triggers again immediately, replace the rectifier.
CAN_COMM_FAIL (Rectifier CAN Bus Communication Failure)

Backplane CAN ribbon cable loose, missing 120-ohm termination resistor, module address collision, or faulty communication transceiver on the rectifier
1. Inspect RJ45/ribbon cables connecting the controller to the subrack backplane. 2. Measure resistance between CAN_H and CAN_L lines (nominal ~60 ohms unpowered). 3. Reseat the module; if communication fails to recover, replace the rectifier communication board or the module.
BLVD_ACT (Battery Low Voltage Disconnect Active)

Extended mains outage causing total battery capacity depletion; bus voltage dropped below the BLVD setpoint (typically 43.2V) to protect cells from permanent sulfation
1. Confirm emergency diesel generator has started and is supplying AC to the rectifiers. 2. Verify battery terminal voltages and breaker status. 3. Monitor DC bus recovery; once voltage exceeds the reconnect threshold (>48V), verify automatic contactor re-closure.
FAN_FAIL (Rectifier Fan Blocked / Tachometer Fault)
