INV_FAULT (Inverter Fault / Bypass Active)

1. Review LCD historical log to identify the specific secondary fault code. 2. Measure utility mains input and DC bus voltage levels for nominal range compliance. 3. Disconnect non-critical loads and execute an inverter restart/soft reset. 4. If the fault persists upon restart, isolate the unit and replace the power/inverter assembly.
BAT_DISCONN (Battery Disconnected / Open Circuit)
Warning LED solid Amber, Battery LED flashing, buzzer beeps every 2 seconds
External battery cabinet circuit breaker open, blown DC fuse, reversed polarity, or battery detection cabling disconnected
1. Verify that the external battery circuit breaker (BCB) is in the closed (ON) position. 2. Measure open-circuit voltage at the DC input terminals with a multimeter to verify nominal threshold. 3. Inspect battery communication cable and temperature sensor terminations for loose contacts. 4. Initiate a manual battery self-test via the LCD display to clear the latching condition.

Confirm if the UPS automatically re-transfers from bypass back to inverter once load drops below 90%. 4. If overload indication persists with zero load, inspect the output current transformer (CT) sensing circuitry.
OVER_TEMP (Internal Overtemperature / Heatsink Thermal Trip)

Allow the UPS to cool down; reset the alarm via LCD to re-engage inverter operation. 4. If thermal alarm persists after cooling and fans spin freely, inspect NTC thermistor harness and control logic.
FAN_FAULT (Fan Failure / Tachometer Lock)
Warning LED flashing Amber, Fault LED solid Red, buzzer sounds intermittently
Cooling fan bearing locked, mechanical obstruction, fan power cable loose, or PWM tachometer feedback signal loss
1. Visually check rear exhaust fans to identify non-spinning units and inspect for physical obstructions. 2. Power off, isolate the UPS, and manually spin the fan blades to verify bearing friction. 3. Inspect fan power connectors and tachometer sense pins on the main controller board for firm seating. 4. If wiring is intact but the fan does not spin or report RPM, replace the defective 12V/24V DC fan assembly.
