Alarms & troubleshooting

AC_IN_FAIL (AC Input Abnormal / Mains Failure)
Run LED (Green) OFF, Alarm LED (Yellow) solid ON
Mains supply blackout, upstream AC circuit breaker tripped, input voltage dropped below 85VAC, or loose AC terminal wiring
1. Measure AC input terminal voltage with a digital multimeter to confirm line voltage is within normal range (85-290VAC); 2. Check and reset any tripped AC branch circuit breakers or SPD disconnectors in the PDU; 3. Unseat and firmly re-seat the rectifier module into the subrack backplane to rule out connector pin contact failure.
DC_OUT_OVP (DC Output Overvoltage Lockout / HVSD)
Fault LED (Red) solid ON, Run LED (Green) OFF
Output voltage exceeded hardware overvoltage protection threshold (typically 59.5-60.0V), internal PWM feedback loop failure, or master controller setpoint corruption
1. Disconnect the module AC input, wait 60 seconds for internal bus capacitors to discharge, then power on again to reset hardware lockout; 2. If the red LED remains lit, unplug the unit and verify if external bus voltage is pushed high by another faulty module; 3. If the module triggers HVSD in standalone test, internal voltage regulation has failed; replace the unit.
OVER_TEMP (Module Over-Temperature Protection / OTP)

Power down and withdraw the module, use dry compressed air to clear dust from heatsink fins; the module will auto-recover once temperature drops below recovery threshold.
FAN_FAIL (Cooling Fan Failure / Rotor Locked)
Alarm LED (Yellow) solid ON, output current automatically derated to 50%
Foreign debris jamming DC brushless fan blades, bearing failure/wear, PWM speed regulation circuit defect, or tachometer speed feedback signal lost
1. Visually inspect fan housing and use an insulated probe to clear any mechanical obstruction; 2. Verify fan wire harness connection to the internal PCB is firmly seated; 3. If the fan spins freely by hand but fails to spin under power with alarm asserted, the fan motor winding or hall sensor has failed; replace the fan assembly.
COMM_FAIL (Communication Loss & Current Sharing Imbalance)
Alarm LED (Yellow) slow flash (0.5Hz), Run LED (Green) solid ON
CAN-bus or RS485 communication link broken between module and central monitoring unit (CSU), backplane signal pins bent/oxidized, module ID address conflict, or active current sharing circuit fault
1. Access the CSU controller interface to verify if the module slot is reported offline or unrecognized; 2. Withdraw the module and inspect gold-finger communications pins for bends, recession, or tarnishing; 3. Verify module address dip switches and baud rate match system configuration; 4. Rectifier will fallback to autonomous default float voltage (53.5V); if current sharing error exceeds 10% between modules, replace interface control board or rectifier.
