CAN_COMM_ERR (CAN-Bus Communication Loss Alarm)

1. Inspect backplane RJ45/ribbon CAN bus cables, ensuring all rectifier sub-racks and Smartpack R ports are seated securely. 2. Measure terminal resistance between CAN_H and CAN_L using a digital multimeter; verify it reads approximately 60 Ohms (two 120 Ohm terminators in parallel). 3. Access controller UI or WebPower to check the node inventory, locate missing device IDs, and reseat the affected module.
LVBD_ACTIVE (Low Voltage Battery Disconnect Active)

Extended AC mains outage causing battery discharge below LVBD disconnect threshold (typically 43.2V on 48V nominal systems), or contactor control coil wiring failure
1. Verify whether AC utility mains has recovered; ensure rectifiers have powered on and output DC voltage exceeds reconnect threshold. 2. Access Smartpack R menu, verify LVD status, or use Manual Override command to test contactor pull-in coil operation. 3. Measure voltage across the LVBD contactor coil terminal; if drive signal is present but contactor fails to close, replace the faulty magnetic contactor.
RECT_HVSD (Rectifier High Voltage Shutdown Lockout)

If the module trips into red HVSD lockout immediately upon reconnecting, internal power components are defective; replace the rectifier.
BATT_TEMP_HIGH (High Battery Temperature Alarm)

If cells are physically hot (>50°C) or bulging, immediately lower float voltage via Smartpack R parameters and isolate the damaged string circuit breaker.
MAINS_FAIL (AC Mains Failure / Phase Loss)
