AC_FAIL (AC Mains Failure / Out of Range)
Green LED OFF, Red LED solid ON
AC mains input voltage < 85 VAC or > 300 VAC, upstream AC circuit breaker tripped, or input terminal loose/disconnected.
1. Measure true RMS voltage at the rectifier subrack rear slot AC terminals using a calibrated multimeter. 2. Inspect the upstream AC distribution breaker (MCB) feeding the module slot for trip or thermal damage. 3. Pull the module handle, inspect the rear blind-mate connector for arc burns or bent pins, then re-seat firmly.
OUT_OVP (DC High Voltage Shutdown / HVSD)
Green LED OFF, Red LED solid ON (Latched shutdown)
DC output bus voltage exceeded the hardcoded trip threshold (typically > 59.5 VDC), triggering internal latching shutdown.
1. Unlatch the module and disconnect input AC for 30 seconds to discharge the DC link capacitors and reset the HVSD latch. 2. Query the Smartpack controller to confirm float, boost, and temperature compensation voltage parameters are within bounds. 3. Re-insert the rectifier; if HVSD triggers immediately upon startup, the internal voltage feedback circuit is defective, requiring unit replacement.
OVER_TEMP (Thermal Derating & Over-Temperature)
Derating: Yellow LED solid ON, Green LED ON; Shutdown: Green LED OFF, Red LED solid ON
Ambient temperature > 55°C, front air intake grill obstructed, blocked exhaust, or severe dust accumulation on internal heatsinks.
1. Verify site HVAC cooling and ensure cold-aisle ambient temperature is within normal limits (< 45°C). 2. Clean rectifier front air intake grilles and ensure at least 10 cm unobstructed clearance behind the subrack exhaust. 3. Remove the module and clear heatsink dust channels using clean, dry compressed air (<= 0.3 MPa).
FAN_FAIL (Cooling Fan Speed / Tachometer Fault)
Yellow LED flashing (0.5 Hz) or solid ON, Green LED solid ON
Fan rotor mechanically seized by foreign particles, worn-out bearings, or lost tachometer feedback signal below speed threshold.
1. Visually inspect the front fan grill and dislodge any cable ties, plastic packing, or foreign objects jamming the blades. 2. Gently spin the fan blade with a non-conductive tool to check for mechanical bearing friction. 3. If free spin is normal but alarm persists, release front panel retainers and replace the hot-swappable fan assembly.
CAN_FAIL (CAN-Bus Communication Loss / Autonomous Mode)
Green LED flashing (1 Hz), Yellow LED solid ON, Red LED OFF
Loss of CAN-bus polling between module and Smartpack controller, damaged backplane CAN pins, missing termination, or module address conflict.
1. Verify Smartpack controller is powered and check CAN-bus RJ45 ribbon cables and bus termination resistor plugs. 2. Pull the rectifier module and inspect the signal pins on the backplane connector for bent pins or foreign debris, then re-seat firmly. 3. Run 'Search / Auto-Detect Rectifiers' from the Smartpack front keypad; if communication is not restored, move the module to an adjacent empty slot to isolate backplane faults.
