What this product is

What this product is

The CSU401S is the central telemetry and control engine for ZTE's medium-to-large telecom DC power systems. Built on a real-time embedded architecture with optically isolated industrial buses and high-precision analog-to-digital converters, it manages clusters of rectifiers, monitors AC/DC power distribution, and reports critical site telemetry upstream to the carrier Network Management System (NMS) via standard IP/SNMP protocols.

What problem it solves

Eliminates operational vulnerabilities including uncontrolled battery sulfation due to lack of thermal compensation, uncoordinated rectifier cycling, and costly unguided field visits caused by inadequate remote alarm diagnostics.

Who and where it is for

5G/4G macro base station cabinets, telecom central offices running ZXDU power racks, metro convergence nodes, and industrial -48V DC infrastructure.

Core advantages

  • Advanced four-remote capabilities (telemetry, tele-indication, tele-control, and tele-regulation) with autonomous cycling and sleep mode for up to 32 rectifiers.
  • Comprehensive battery health architecture with multi-stage Low Voltage Disconnect (LLVD/BLVD) and temperature-compensated charging algorithms.
  • Carrier-grade northbound communication supporting SNMP v1/v2c/v3, HTTP/HTTPS web console, and dry-contact alarm mapping.
